During the 3 weeks we have been here, some interesting things have happened:
One of The nights we were invited to Sandra’s place (Norwegian volunteer) ,there we had a very fun evening... and for first time since we left Borgen we played legretto!!!
Lorna hosted a small kind of tea party with the Norwegian missionaries here in Douentza, Lorna made some really good food, and we had a really good time!
Bradley and I (Tito) tasted our first Malian Tea with the night guard, Jose. Tea here is a long process........you drink three separate times. The first time is the strongest and then by the third time it is very sweet because they use LOTS of sugar. As the tea weakens, it gets sweeter. We have become pros at drinking tea now!
*I (Tito) lead the team for one week..... Veronika took over and is leader until 18 of February.
She is doing a great job as leader. Now we are very excited to know, who is going to be our next leader... Bradley or Miriam?
